Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the http://www.walkabouttours.gr, website operated by the travel agency “Walkabout Tours & Adventure”.

The travel agency “Walkabout Tours & Adventure” is a company licensed by the GNTO (Greek National Tourism Organization) with the number 1167E60000108701.

Is registered at the Tax office of Thira (Santorini) with the tax registration number 057042390. Is headquartered in the Municipality of Thira, at Emporio and is member of the Cyclades Chamber of Commerce and member of the Association of Tourist and Travel Agencies of Greece.

Your access to and use of our website is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access our website or book any service.

All our services advertised on our website are operated by “Walkabout Tours & Adventure” and its partners and suppliers.

By accessing or booking any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the website.

 

 

  • General

 

 

1a) Use of our Services and Website

You agree you will only use our website or services to make legitimate reservations or purchases and shall not make speculative, false or fraudulent reservations or reservations in anticipation of demand. You will only use our website and services in compliance with applicable law.

Without our prior written permission, you may not (a) access, monitor or copy any content or information on our website using any “robot”, “spider” or other automated or manual device or program, (b) deep link to any portion of our website, or (c) “frame” or incorporate any portion of our website into any other website.

Our website may contain links to third party websites that we provide only as a convenience to you. You should take precautions to ensure that whatever links you access are free of viruses, worms, trojan horses or other destructive mechanisms The existence of these links does not imply that we endorse such websites or any included content. We are not responsible for such websites or content or any data privacy practices of such websites.

1b) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us and our affiliates, and any of our Suppliers, and any such parties’ officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, causes of action, demands, losses, damages, or other costs, (including reasonable legal and accounting fees) brought by you or third parties as a result of (a) your breach of this Agreement, (b) your violation of any law or rights of any third party, or (c) your use of our website.

 

1c) Privacy Policy

You consent to our processing and sharing of personal information about you and other members of your party that you have provided to us in accordance with the terms of and for the purposes set forth in our privacy policy. You represent that you have read and agree to the terms of our privacy policy, which can be found at our website.

 

 

 

  • How to book

 

You can make a booking through the website www.walkabouttours.gr .

The person making the booking must be 18 years old or over and possess the legal capacity and authority to make the booking and accepts these booking conditions on behalf of everyone in their party.

 

  1. Prices

3a) Our prices are quoted on our website.

3b) We will from time to time change the prices quoted on our website, but this will not affect contracts that have previously come into force.

3c) All amounts stated on our website are stated inclusive of VAT.

 

  • Payments

 

To secure your reservation, you should pay a deposit of 30% of total tour cost by bank transfer or credit card. The rest of the fee is due at the day of the service and can be paid by cash or credit card.

 

  1. Variation of booking (Modifications/Amendments)

5a) You can make changes on your booking through your account or by e-mail  at [email protected] .

 

       5b) We may change the time and date of a service that is the subject of a booking by giving to you written notice of the change at least 14 days before the service is due to begin. If we notify you of a change to a booking, you shall have a right to cancel the booking and receive a full refund of the price paid in respect of the booking, providing that your notice of cancellation must be received by us within 7 days following the date of issue of our notification of the change. If your notice of cancellation is received after the end of that period, you will not be entitled to a refund.

 

  • Cancellation Policy

 

Cancellation of bookings by us.

6a) We may cancel a contract under these terms and conditions at least 14 days before the service in respect of which the Contract was made begins.                     6b) We will give you written notice of any contract cancellation.

       6c) If we cancel a contract under these terms and conditions in accordance with this Section, you will be entitled to a full refund of the price paid under that contract.

 

Cancellation of bookings by you

 

You may cancel a booking under these terms and conditions:

Cancellations received 7 days or more, prior to the service date: no cancellation fee

Cancellations received 6 to 4 days prior to the tour date: 50% cancellation fee

Cancellations received 3 or fewer days prior to the service date or no shows: 100% cancellation fee.

6d) In order to cancel a booking under this Section(6), you must send to us a written notice of cancellation by email using the contract details specified in the confirmation form.

 

 

  • Warranties and representations

 

7a) You warrant and represent to us that:

(a) you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;

(b) you have full authority, power and capacity to agree to these terms and conditions; and

(c) all the information that you provide to us in connection with your order is true, accurate, complete, current and non-misleading.

          7b) We warrant to you that any services we may supply to you under these terms and conditions or in connection with a booking will be supplied with care and skill.

 

  • Force majeure

 

         8a) If a force majeure event gives rise to a failure or delay in us performing any obligation under these terms and conditions, that obligation will be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event.

8b) If we become aware of a force majeure event which gives rise to, or which is likely to give rise to, any failure or delay in us performing any obligation under these terms and conditions, we shall:

(a) promptly notify you; and

(b) inform you of the period for which it is estimated that such failure or delay will continue.

          8c) If the performance of our obligations under these terms and conditions is affected by a force majeure event, we shall take reasonable steps to mitigate the effects of the force majeure event.

 

 

  • Variation

 

9a) We may revise these terms and conditions from time to time by publishing a new version on our website.

9b) A revision of these terms and conditions will apply to contracts entered into at any time following the time of the revision, but will not affect contracts made before the time of the revision.

 

 

  • Assignment

 

10a) You hereby agree that we may assign, transfer, sub-contract or otherwise deal with our rights and/or obligations under these terms and conditions[ – providing, if you are a consumer, that such action does not serve to reduce the guarantees benefiting you under these terms and conditions.

10b)You may not without our prior written consent assign, transfer, sub-contract or otherwise deal with any of your rights and/or obligations under these terms and conditions.

 

 

  • Entire agreement

 

These terms and conditions, together with the booking information page on our website, shall constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to bookings made through our website, and shall supersede all previous agreements between you and us in relation to such bookings.

 

 

  • Law and jurisdiction

 

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Greek law.

Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of  Greece.

 

 

  • Statutory and regulatory disclosures

 

13a) We will not file a copy of these terms and conditions specifically in relation to each user or customer and, if we update these terms and conditions, the version to which you originally agreed will no longer be available on our website. We recommend that you consider saving a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference.

13b) These terms and conditions are available in the Greek & English language only.
